Sara Bolton

General Bio:

Sara has spent most of her career in Health Care, starting out in stem cell biology/cellular therapies first at VPL Laboratories and then at The Hoxworth Blood Center. Sara transitioned to non-profit work at The Health Collaborative in 2010, where she spent over 11 years leading Programs and services. In this role, Sara was an expert in innovative payment models, health policy, and change management. She managed large-scale, multi-million dollar contracts, which involved myriad partners with competing priorities. Her role also included internal operations, where she led a multi-disciplinary team that included quality improvement coaches, nurses, data analysts, health equity specialists, and community organizers. This role prepared her well for her current role as VP of Business Services at AMEND Consulting. Sara joined the team at a pivotal time, as the organization was ready to scale. She helped build out the internal infrastructure and launch an Operating System for consistent and efficient ways of working. She is passionate about creating high-performing teams and supporting individuals’ unique development journeys. Sara is a systems-level thinker and enjoys uncovering the root of an issue and working toward an efficient solution.
