Mary Gaertner

Mary grew up on the east side of Cincinnati and returned post-college, where she attended Lee University earning a degree in Early Childhood Education. Mary has spent her early career in the non-profit sector and served 8 years as Executive Director of Girls on the Run Greater Cincinnati where she was named a 2019 Forty Under 40 Honoree. She now works as Director of Community Engagement for Sycamore Capital where she leads the team’s social responsibility work, including their DEI efforts and charitable partnerships.

She is excited to bring her fundraising and community service background to the FHFE. In addition to this board service, she volunteers with the Anderson Township Historical Society’s Urban Farm the Township’s WEThrive! Committee and serves as a mentor at Oyler Elementary.

Mary resides in Anderson with her husband, Brad who is a math and computer science teacher and wrestling coach at Anderson High School, and their daughter Nora who attends Maddux Elementary.
