Building a Legacy in Forest Hills
The Forest Hills Foundation for Education (FHFE) was founded 16 years ago by members of the community who recognized that the needs of our students exceeded the tax revenue and state funding. Starting with funding for the after-school programs, tutoring and transportation at Nagel, the foundation has granted over 3.4 million to the Forest Hills School district since 2008, impacting thousands of students.
In 2024, the 1890 Legacy Society was created to honor the lifetime giving of our generous donors. The founding year for The Forest Hills School District, 1890, was the inspiration for the name and lifetime giving entry level for members.
