Josh Gerth (THS, 1994)

Josh is a Senior Vice President in the Cincinnati, Ohio office, which includes Dayton, Northern
KY and Lexington, KY. He is responsible for providing corporate real estate consulting services
to clients, focusing mainly on their office space acquisition and disposition needs.
Experience

Josh has over 25 years of experience including working for one of the biggest commercial
developers in the region early in his career and over 18 years with JLL. He uses his experience as a former
Landlord Representative to bring a competitive advantage to the table when he is negotiating for
his clients. Josh is licensed in Ohio and Kentucky and has completed thousands of transactions.
He also spearheaded applying for and ultimately accepting the Cincinnati Better Business Bureau Torch Award for Ethical
Business Practices on behalf of JLL.

Education and Affiliations

Josh earned a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and Real Estate from the University of Cincinnati Lindner College of Business. He is
past President of the local chapter of NAIOP and President of NAIOP Ohio where he currently serves as Treasurer. He received
NAIOP’s National Emerging Leaders Award and is also a graduate of The Cincinnati Chamber’s Young Leadership Program, C-
Change. Josh is also a recipient of the Business Courier’s prestigious Forty Under 40 Award. Josh received the 2023 and 2024 Cincy
Magazine Rising Star award and the 2023 NAIOP Office Deal of Year.

In 2013 Josh was elected to the Anderson Township, Ohio Board of Trustees and was re-elected in 2017 and 2021, where he
currently oversees 100 employees and a $50 million annual budget on behalf of 44,000 residents.

Josh is an Executive Board Member of OKI Regional Council of Governments and a Director of the Ohio Township Association. He
is also a member of several community organizations including the Eastern Hills Exchange Club, Sons Of The American Legion,
and City Club of Cincinnati. He has served on the boards of University of Cincinnati’s Lindner College of Business, Queen City Book
Bank, American City County Exchange and was recently named Trustee Emeritus of The Cincinnati Memorial Hall Society.

He and his wife of 21 years, Melissa, along with their 3 children, live in Anderson Township, Ohio.
